In this tutorial you will learn:
- How to connect to Wi-Fi on your iPhone.
Being able to connect to Wi-Fi can be very useful. This connection will provide an easy and fast way to connect to all apps that require wireless internet. Social media websites, music apps such as Pandora, and any other app that connects to the internet.
Locate the grey icon on the main screen of your iPhone that says “settings” and click on it (Image 1). Locate and click on the option that says “Wi-Fi” with the blue icon beside it (Image 2).
Choose a network from the available options that appear. If the name of the network has a lock symbol beside it that means that it is a private network and that it will have a password. If it doesn’t have a lock then it is usually going to be an unprotected network (Image 3).
If you select a Wi-Fi network that is protected with a password then a login screen will appear. Enter the username and password of the network using the phone keyboard (Image 4).
This screen may appear, this just means that this is an unverified network and that your information may not be private (Image 5). If you still want to continue select the grey option that says “Accept”.
The network that you connected to will appear above the other Wi-Fi network options and have a blue check beside it- this means that you have successfully connected to the network (Image 6).
